Solar power optimizers for photovoltaic systems

A power optimizer is a DC/DC device fitted to each individual module that tracks its maximum power point independently. One shaded panel no longer drags down the whole string, so output stays consistent on roofs with mixed orientation, chimneys, trees or localised soiling.

Why add module-level optimizers

How to choose

Check three module figures: peak power (Pmax), open-circuit voltage (Voc) and short-circuit current (Isc). The optimizer input rating must match or exceed panel Pmax, with a compatible voltage window. Unsure about string sizing? Our technical desk replies within 24 hours.
