QIT50-1 Interface Panel SecSun 50kW 1 Inverter CEI 0-21 with Test Report
Interface panel SecSun QIT50-1 for 50 kWp photovoltaic systems with 1 three-phase inverter. Compliant with CEI 0-21 and CEI EN 61439-1/2, protection rating IP65. Supplied pre-wired with SPI test report and declaration of conformity. Made in Italy by SecSun / MR WATT.
The QIT50-1 is the SecSun interface panel for industrial and commercial photovoltaic systems of 50 kWp with 1 three-phase inverter. Designed and manufactured in Italy, it complies with CEI 0-21 and CEI EN 61439-1/2 standards and is supplied complete with SPI test report (Interface Test Instrument), the technical document required by Italian grid operators to validate the interface protection in medium-to-large photovoltaic systems.
When is the QIT50-1 mandatory?
The CEI 0-21 standard requires an interface protection system (SPI) for all photovoltaic systems connected to the LV grid with power above 11.08 kW. The QIT50-1 is the correct solution for 50 kWp installations with a single three-phase inverter, typically artisan warehouses, agricultural facilities, medium-sized commercial buildings, and small-to-medium power industrial systems.

Inverter compatibility
The QIT50-1 is compatible with any three-phase photovoltaic inverter up to 50 kW, regardless of brand: Huawei SUN2000, SMA Tripower, Fronius Symo, Solax X3, Sungrow SG, ABB/FIMER, Goodwe ET, Growatt and others. The CEI 0-21 interface protection operates independently of the brand of the connected inverter.
Frequently asked questions
Is the QIT50-1 already wired or does it require on-site assembly?
The QIT50-1 is supplied fully pre-wired and factory-tested. On site, the installer only needs to connect the cables coming from the inverter and those going to the grid, following the single-line diagram included in the supply. No internal assembly inside the panel is required.
What is the SPI test report and why is it necessary?
The SPI test report (Interface Test Instrument) is the official document that certifies the correct operation of the CEI 0-21 interface relay. It is required by E-Distribuzione and other local grid operators to approve the application for connecting the photovoltaic system to the public grid. MR WATT includes the test report already completed in the supply of the QIT50-1.
Does the QIT50-1 work with any 50 kW three-phase inverter?
Yes. The QIT50-1 is designed to work with any three-phase photovoltaic inverter up to 50 kW, regardless of brand. The CEI 0-21 interface relay operates on the AC side of the panel autonomously with respect to the brand of the connected inverter.
Which documents does MR WATT include in the supply of the QIT50-1?
MR WATT supplies with the QIT50-1: SPI test report (mandatory for the connection application), CEI EN 61439-1/2 declaration of conformity, panel single-line diagram, and installation manual. These documents cover all documentation requirements requested by Italian grid operators for connection approval.
Is there a panel version for power ratings other than 50 kWp?
Yes. MR WATT offers the full SecSun QIT range: QIT20-1 (20 kWp, 1 inverter), QIT50-1 (50 kWp, 1 inverter), QIT100-2 (100 kWp, 2 inverters), QIT200-3 (200 kWp, 3 inverters) and other custom models. Contact MR WATT for systems with specific configurations or with power outside the standard range.
