ZCS 60 kW DC charger CHAdeMO + CCS2 Dual
60 kW DC fast charging station with one CHAdeMO and one CCS2 connector, 5 m cables, 10.1" touch display, start via RFID, app or Plug&Play, MID meter and OCPP. Floor-standing, IP54. ZCS Azzurro part number ZVD-60K-POWER/D.
The ZCS Azzurro ZVD-60K-POWER/D is a 60 kW DC fast charging station in the Dual version: one CHAdeMO and one CCS2 connector, both with a 5 m cable, to serve the latest European cars as well as Japanese vehicles that still use the CHAdeMO standard. It is a floor-standing charger with a 10.1" touch display, MID meter and OCPP management, designed for workshops, dealerships, hotels, businesses and mixed fleets.
Why the Dual version with CHAdeMO
CCS2 is the European standard, but many electric cars and vans with a CHAdeMO inlet are still on the road, especially early-generation Japanese models. A workshop, a multi-brand dealership or a business with a mixed fleet installing CCS2 only would leave these vehicles out. The Dual version serves them all with a single station.

Grid connection: what to know first
At full power the station draws 96 A per phase at 400 V, about 66 kVA. That is within a low-voltage connection in most of Europe, but it almost always requires an increase of the contracted capacity or a dedicated supply: check with your grid operator before ordering. The charger is installed on a concrete platform, with an underground supply line and upstream protection sized by the designer according to IEC 60364-7-722 and local rules.
Frequently asked questions
How long does a charge take?
At 60 kW about 1 kWh is delivered per minute: in half an hour a car adds roughly 25-30 kWh, i.e. 150-180 km of range, if the vehicle accepts that power. Charging slows above 80% state of charge by the vehicle's choice.
Can two vehicles charge at the same time?
The manufacturer specifies two outputs able to charge simultaneously; the total power remains that of the station and is shared between the two vehicles.
Is an internet connection needed?
Not for Plug&Play or RFID use. The Wi-Fi or Ethernet connection is needed for app management and to link the station to an OCPP management and billing platform.
Is it suitable for public use?
It can be, but public charging points of 50 kW and above must meet the EU AFIR Regulation requirements, including ad hoc payment by card. The station comes with RFID, app and Plug&Play: for public use, a payment solution must be provided through the OCPP operator.
What maintenance does it need?
Cooling relies on fans in the power modules: filters and air vents must be kept clean, and connections, cables and connectors checked periodically by qualified personnel.
