PV DC Field Combiner Box 8 Strings IP66 QCM-511706
SecSun QCM-511706 DC field combiner box for 8 PV strings, DC Class II SPD, sectionable fuse holders, IP66. Made in Italy. 510 x 720 x 250 mm, 5 kg. For commercial/industrial PV.
The QCM-511706 is the MR WATT / SecSun PV field combiner box for systems with 8 DC strings in parallel. Placed between the array and the inverter, it combines and protects the strings against overcurrent, short circuit and surge before the conversion to AC. Its IP66 enclosure suits outdoor installation on structures, carports, industrial roofs and ground-mount plants, even in dusty or wet environments.

Frequently asked questions
Is the box pre-wired or assembled on site?
The QCM-511706 is supplied pre-assembled with fuse holders, DC fuses and surge arrester already fitted. On site you only connect the string cables to the inputs and the output cable to the inverter, following the single-line diagram. No internal assembly is required.
Is IP66 enough for coastal or industrial sites?
IP66 provides full protection against dust and powerful water jets from any direction, suitable for outdoor installation in harsh weather. For strong salt mist (coastal areas) or aggressive chemicals (industrial zones), a reinforced anti-corrosion enclosure is recommended – contact MR WATT.
Can I use it with any inverter brand?
Yes. The field box works only on the DC side, before the inverter, so it is compatible with any PV inverter that accepts DC input: Huawei, SMA, Fronius, SolaX, Sungrow, GoodWe, Growatt and others. Just check the system's maximum DC voltage (1000 or 1500 V) and the maximum current per string.
