Alfen Eve Double Plus 22 kW 2 T2 sockets, 1 feeder
Alfen Eve Double Plus dual charging station, three-phase, with two Type 2 sockets and a single 32 A supply feeder shared between the outputs. The most essential and affordable version of the family: 7" display, Type B RCD and MID meter per socket, OCPP, IP54 and IK10.
The Alfen Eve Double Plus 3PH 1FC T2 (Alfen part number 904463021) is the two-point charging station with two Type 2 sockets and one supply feeder. Each socket delivers up to 22 kW three-phase; when two vehicles charge, the available 32 A are automatically shared. It is the simplest and most affordable configuration of the Double Plus family, ideal for residential buildings, offices and company car parks with long stays.
Sockets instead of cables: when it pays off
With sockets every user plugs in their own Type 2 to Type 2 cable. The station has no exposed cables to be damaged, trodden on or cut, and maintenance is reduced. It is the right choice when users are always the same, such as employees and residents, who keep their cable in the car. For hotels and car parks with occasional users, the tethered-cable version is better.
Protection on board
Each socket has its own integrated 30 mA Type B residual current device, which also detects the DC fault currents typical of car on-board chargers. Each output's contactor opens all phases simultaneously and is backed by a safety relay in series for emergencies; overcurrent protection is handled by the firmware.

How much it charges in a working day
A station on one 32 A three-phase feeder delivers up to 22 kW in total. Over an 8-hour stay, with two cars accepting 11 kW each, each vehicle receives roughly up to 80-90 kWh: far more than a daily commute needs. That is why, for long stays, a second feeder is rarely necessary.
Frequently asked questions
Is the charging cable included?
No, this version has two sockets: each user uses their own Type 2 to Type 2 cable. If tethered cables are needed, there is the Eve Double Plus Cable version.
Is an upstream RCD needed?
The sockets have an integrated Type B RCD. Alfen specifies upstream of the feeder a 4P RCD of at least 100 mA (Type B or selective Type A) and a 4P 40 A circuit breaker, according to the installation requirements.
Can it connect to an energy management system?
Yes, via Modbus TCP/IP to an EMS or external meter, to adapt charging to the building's consumption.
Does it work in a TT earthing system?
Yes, the station is specified for TN-S, TN-C-S, TT and IT systems; in a TT system an earth electrode with suitable resistance is required, as set out in Alfen's instructions.
Can several stations share the data connection?
Yes, the two Ethernet ports allow daisy chaining: several stations share a single data line to the router or management system.
