The ZST-CABLE-KIT cable kit electrically connects the single-phase ZCS Azzurro hybrid inverter to the first battery of an LV storage tower, whether it is a ZSX5000 or a Pylontech US2000/US3000 pack. It is the main power cable, separate from the parallel cables between batteries (ZST-CABLE-0,6M and ZST-CABLE-1,5M), which instead connect the modules to each other.
What is the ZST-CABLE-KIT used for?
On ZCS Azzurro low-voltage storage systems, each additional battery requires a dedicated parallel cable, but the connection from the inverter to the first module of the tower always uses this kit. It is compatible with both the proprietary ZSX5000 battery and Pylontech packs, covering both configurations permitted on ZCS single-phase hybrid inverters.

When is it needed compared to parallel cables?
The ZST-CABLE-KIT is used only once per storage tower, for the direct connection between the inverter and the first battery. If the tower has multiple modules in parallel, the ZST-CABLE-0,6M or ZST-CABLE-1,5M cables are also required between one module and the next: a common mistake is to order only the latter, forgetting the connection to the inverter.

Is the ZST-CABLE-KIT compatible with both ZSX5000 and Pylontech?
Yes, the kit covers both compatibilities declared by the ZCS Azzurro single-phase hybrid inverter: simply choose the correct connector during installation according to the battery installed.
Do I need a different kit if I have more than one battery in parallel?
The ZST-CABLE-KIT remains the only one for the inverter-to-first-battery connection. To connect subsequent batteries to each other, the ZST-CABLE-0,6M (60 cm) or ZST-CABLE-1,5M (150 cm) parallel cables are required separately, sold separately.
Are the 5 metri of cable sufficient for any installation?
They cover most residential cases, where the inverter and battery tower are located in the same technical room. For longer distances, the voltage drop must be checked with the installer.
Can I use it with a three-phase hybrid inverter?
No, the ZST-CABLE-KIT is dedicated to the single-phase hybrid range. Three-phase inverters with ZBT 5K HV batteries use dedicated cables such as the ZZT-ZBT5K-EXT-KIT.
What material and cross-section do the cables have?
Copper power cables with PVC sheath, sized for the charge/discharge current of the connected battery; the manufacturer does not publish the exact cross-section in the public datasheet.
