ZST-CABLE-1.5M
150 cm parallel interconnection kit for linking two ZCS Azzurro ZSX5000 battery modules or two storage boxes. Includes both the power cables and the BMS communication cable.
This is the long version, needed when the two battery packs are installed some distance apart, for example on separate walls or in separate cabinets. It is not the battery-to-inverter cable, which is the separate ZST-CABLE-KIT part number.
The ZCS Azzurro ZST-CABLE-1.5M is the cable kit for connecting two ZSX5000 lithium batteries in parallel, or two compatible storage boxes, with a length of 150 cm. The kit includes the power cables and the communication cable that lets the module BMS units talk to each other, so the storage system is recognised by the inverter as a single bank.
When you actually need this cable
This is the question that causes the most ordering mistakes, so it is worth settling straight away. When you buy a ZSX5000 battery module, short parallel cables of around 20 cm are already supplied in the box, which are sufficient if the packs are stacked or placed side by side in the standard arrangement.
The ZST-CABLE-1.5M covers the opposite case: when the two modules cannot sit next to each other and have to be installed apart, on different walls, on shelves some distance from each other or in separate cabinets. An intermediate 60 cm version (ZST-CABLE-0.6M) is also available for shorter runs.
What this kit is not
The ZST-CABLE-1.5M does not connect the battery to the inverter. That connection requires a different part number, the ZST-CABLE-KIT, which must be purchased separately even when installing a single battery module. The two cables serve distinct functions, and a system with multiple batteries needs both: one to carry power and communication from the bank to the inverter, the other to parallel the modules with each other.

- Two batteries side by side: the short cables supplied in the boxes are sufficient
- Two batteries far apart: one ZST-CABLE-1.5M for each pair to be linked

Does this cable connect the battery to the inverter?
No. The ZST-CABLE-1.5M parallels two battery modules with each other. The connection to the inverter requires the ZST-CABLE-KIT, which is a separate product code and must be ordered even when installing a single battery.
My two batteries are stacked. Do I need this?
In most cases no. ZSX5000 modules ship with short parallel cables of around 20 cm already in the box, which are adequate when the batteries are stacked or placed side by side. The 150 cm kit is only needed when the modules have to be installed apart from each other.
Does the kit include the communication cable too?
Yes. The kit contains both the power cables and the cable linking the BMS units. Both are required: without the communication link the modules are not recognised as a single bank and the system reports a configuration error.
Can I use a generic cable of the same cross-section?
It is not advisable. The cables are pre-assembled with dedicated connectors and a cross-section sized for the bank's discharge currents; home-made wiring can void the battery warranty and introduce voltage drops or unreliable contacts on the communication line.
How many batteries can I connect in parallel?
The maximum depends on the inverter and battery model: typical ZCS Azzurro configurations with ZSX5000 allow several modules in parallel on the same single-phase hybrid inverter. Always check the ZCS compatibility table for your specific inverter before sizing the bank.
