The CAMP150B is a complete 150 Wp solar kit for motorhomes and campervans with a 12 V leisure system. Its 36-cell polycrystalline panel feeds the EP Solar EP210 10 A PWM controller, which manages two batteries so the leisure battery can be charged while the starter battery receives maintenance charging.

Expected daily energy

Four equivalent peak-sun hours give a theoretical 600 Wh. With an illustrative 20-25% allowance for system losses, roughly 450-480 Wh may reach the battery, equivalent to about 35-40 Ah at 12 V. Shade, heat, panel angle and battery state reduce output.

Example loadIndicative energy
10 W LED lighting for 5 hours50 Wh
Four 15 Wh phone charges60 Wh
50 W water pump for 30 minutes25 Wh
60 W laptop for 2 hours120 Wh

Installation checks

  • Allow more than 147.5 x 67 cm of unshaded roof area.
  • Use mounting and sealing products suitable for the roof construction.
  • Install the controller in a dry, ventilated position near the batteries.
  • Size fuses, isolators and battery cables for the installation.
  • Follow the EP210 manual for connection order, polarity and charging settings.

Frequently asked questions

Which controller is supplied with the CAMP150B?

The kit uses the EP Solar EP210 REGDUO, a 10 A PWM controller for 12/24 V systems with two battery outputs and adjustable charging priority.

Can it charge LiFePO4 batteries?

LiFePO4 is not included in the declared EP210 battery profiles. Use a lithium-compatible controller or obtain specific technical approval before connection.

Is the 150 Wp panel correctly sized for the 10 A controller?

Yes for the declared 12 V configuration. The controller accepts up to 175 Wp at 12 V and the panel delivers 8.52 A at maximum power.

Are roof cables and mounts included?

Yes. The kit includes 10 m of 4 mm² solar cable with MC4 connectors, six ABS mounts and a two-way waterproof roof gland. Adhesive and electrical protection are not listed.

How large and heavy is the panel?

The panel measures 147.5 x 67 x 3.5 cm and weighs 11.6 kg. Roof load capacity and space for mounts must be checked before installation.
