Total Box DC/AC Three-Phase Panel TBTF 1/1 1000V
Total Box TBTF 1/1 1000V: a combined enclosure integrating both DC-side and AC-side protection of a three-phase PV system with one independent string up to 1000 Vdc. Includes 1000V load-break isolator, Type 2 SPD 1000V, 1000V 32A fuse holder with gPV fuses, three-phase RCBO 16/20A 300mA type A and a 400V SPD. IP65 enclosure, 36 DIN modules, compliant with CEI 0-21, CEI EN 61439 and CEI 64-8.
The Icierre Total Box TBTF 1/1 1000V is a combined switchboard bringing together, in a single unit, every protection a three-phase PV system with one independent string up to 1000 Vdc requires: it safely manages both the PV module string (DC side) and the three-phase grid connection (AC side), cutting installation footprint and wiring time compared with assembling loose components.
Why do you need a three-phase Total Box?
Every PV system must be protected against overcurrent, surges and insulation faults, and must be safely isolated for maintenance. On the three-phase side it also needs a four-pole residual current circuit breaker and a surge arrester rated for 400V. The Total Box TBTF 1/1 1000V integrates all these devices into one certified enclosure, compliant with CEI 0-21, CEI EN 61439 and CEI 64-8.

When is the TBTF 1/1 1000V the right choice?
It suits three-phase PV systems with a single string and open-circuit voltage up to 1000 Vdc, typically installations of around 6-10 kWp with a single-MPPT three-phase inverter. For two independent strings on the same board choose the TBTF 2/2 1000V; for single-phase systems, the TBMF family.

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between the TBTF 1/1 1000V and the TBMF 1/1 1000V?
The DC side is equivalent; the AC side differs. The TBTF is designed for three-phase inverters and carries a four-pole residual current circuit breaker with a 400V surge arrester, while the TBMF is single-phase with a two-pole RCBO and a 230V arrester. The choice follows the inverter type and the electricity supply.
Is the TBTF 1/1 1000V pre-wired or do I have to assemble it?
It arrives pre-wired and certified: isolator, SPD, fuse holders and three-phase RCBO are mounted and connected to the input and output terminal blocks. You only need to fix it to the wall and connect the PV string and the three-phase line.
Why is the RCD type A rather than type AC?
PV inverters can inject DC components on the grid side that a type AC residual current device cannot detect. The 300mA type A device fitted in the Total Box is suited to these pulsating unidirectional currents and is what CEI 64-8 calls for in this kind of installation.
What system size does this board cover?
With one string at 1000 Vdc and a 16/20A three-phase AC breaker, the TBTF 1/1 1000V typically covers systems up to around 10 kWp with a single-MPPT three-phase inverter. Sizing should always be checked against the rated current of the inverter actually installed.
Which documents are needed for the grid connection application?
The distribution network operator requires a single-line diagram, a declaration of conformity and the rating data of the installed protective devices. Being a certified board with labelled components, the Total Box simplifies preparing this documentation.
