QIT20-1
Interface electrical panel SECSUN QIT20-1 for three-phase photovoltaic systems up to 20 kWp with 1 inverter. Compliant with the CEI 0-21 standard and Annex A.70 of the Terna Grid Code. The SECSUN QIT20-1 is the network interface electrical panel (SPI — Interface Protection System) designed for three-phase photovoltaic systems with a power output of up to 20 kWp with a single inverter. Manufactured in compliance with the CEI 0-21 Ed. 2016-07 standard and Annex A.70 of the Terna Grid Code, it is the legally required device for all photovoltaic systems connected to the LV grid with a power greater than 11.08 kW.
Why it is mandatory
According to the CEI 0-21 Ed. 2016-07 standard, all systems connected to the national low voltage electricity grid with a power greater than 11.08 kW must be equipped with an external network interface (SPI) physically installed downstream of the meter. The QIT20-1 fulfills this regulatory requirement with a pre-assembled, tested, and certified panel, ready for submission to the GSE procedure and for connection with the grid operator.
Internal components
Each QIT20-1 panel is equipped with the following components, selected from top-tier brands:
- Main isolator switch 4P 40A with trip coil (230V shunt release)
- Fuse holder isolator 1P+N — auxiliary circuit protection, 10A fuse
- Fuse holder isolator 3P+N — protection for interface relay voltage presence, 10A fuses
- Fuse holder isolator 3P+N — surge arrester protection, 32A fuses
- Three-phase surge arrester — Class II, Imax 20 kA
- Contactor 4P (interface device) — 40A in AC3
- Interface relay (SPI) — compliant with CEI 0-21 and CEI 0-16, preset with default regulatory values, customizable on request
- Magnetothermal circuit breaker with residual current block — inverter protection: 4×40A, 6 kA, 300 mA Class A
- Numbered input/output terminal block
Construction and certifications
The panel is made of polyester with IP66 Class II protection rating, resistant to atmospheric agents and suitable for both indoor and outdoor installation. Each unit is:
- Individually tested before shipping
- Equipped with a unique serial number for traceability
- Supplied complete with wiring diagram and CEI EN 61439-1/2 declaration of conformity
- Delivered with a test report (included in the QIT20-1 version) for submission to the GSE procedure
When to use the QIT20-1
The QIT20-1 is the correct solution for:
- Three-phase photovoltaic systems with 1 inverter up to 20 kWp
- LV connections with power > 11.08 kW (CEI 0-21 requirement)
- GSE connection procedures requiring the interface test report
- Replacement or regulatory upgrades of existing systems without an external SPI
For systems with 2 three-phase inverters up to 20 kWp, the QIT20-2 model is available. For higher power ratings, 50 kW and 100 kW models are available.
