Alfen Eve Double Plus 2x22kW 2 T2 cables 2 feeders
Alfen Eve Double Plus dual charging station, three-phase, with two spiral Type 2 cables and two independent supply feeders: each car charges at 22 kW even when both are connected, up to 44 kW in total. 7" display, MID per output, OCPP, IP54, IK10.
The Alfen Eve Double Plus 3PH 2FC Cable (Alfen part number 904463026) is the two-point charging station with tethered spiral Type 2 cables and two supply feeders (2 feeder cables). Each output has its own 32 A feeder and can deliver 22 kW even when two vehicles charge together: up to 44 kW in total from one station. It is the version for those who need to charge a lot, in little time.
When two feeders are really needed
With one feeder two cars share 22 kW. That is perfect for long stays, but not for a taxi or ride-hailing fleet, a car-sharing service, a workshop or a high-turnover car park, where cars stand for an hour or two and must leave charged. With two feeders each car receives all the power its on-board charger accepts, without waiting for the other. Tethered cables complete the picture: no time lost looking for the cable in the boot.

What to plan in the installation
Two feeders mean two supply cables and two sets of upstream protection: for each feeder Alfen specifies a 4P RCD of at least 100 mA Type B (or selective Type A) and a 4P 40 A circuit breaker. The terminals of the two-feeder version accept conductors up to 10 mm² stranded (6 mm² solid); for 22 kW and up to 50 m the recommended cable is 5 x 6 mm². Before choosing this version, check that the building's supply can handle an extra 64 A per phase, or plan a load management system.
Frequently asked questions
Do two cars really charge at 22 kW together?
Yes, if both have a 22 kW on-board charger. With 11 kW cars each receives 11 kW: the station is never the limit.
Must the contracted power be 44 kW?
Not necessarily. If the supply is not enough, the station can be controlled by an energy management system via Modbus TCP/IP or by the OCPP platform, limiting power at peak times.
How long are the cables?
The spiral cables extend to 7.5 m and retract when not in use, staying off the ground.
Can each driver be billed for their charging?
Yes: each output has an MID meter and the station communicates via OCPP with management platforms that link each session to the user's RFID card.
Can it be pole-mounted?
Yes, besides the wall Alfen offers single and double mounting poles and concrete bases as accessories.
