ZZT-BAT-ZBT5K
High-voltage battery module ZCS Azzurro ZZT-BAT-ZBT5K, 5,12 kWh nominal, 400V, stackable up to 4 modules (20,48 kWh). Compatible with ZP1 and ZP3 inverters. IP65, external BDU required.
The ZCS Azzurro HV ZBT 5K high-voltage battery module (code ZZT-BAT-ZBT5K) is the reference battery for ZP1 (single-phase) and ZP3 (three-phase) hybrid inverters in the Easy Power series. Nominal capacity 5,12 kWh, nominal voltage 400 V, floor-stackable up to 4 modules for a total capacity of 20,48 kWh.
Why is the ZBT 5K the reference battery for Easy Power inverters?
ZCS Azzurro ZP1 and ZP3 inverters are designed to work exclusively with this high-voltage module: each battery integrates its own DC/DC converter, allowing independent operation of the modules and floor-stackable installation without additional racking. The external BDU (Battery Distribution Unit), mandatory for operation of the battery pack, must be ordered separately.

Which inverters is it compatible with?
The ZBT 5K is compatible with HYD ZP1 single-phase (3-6 kW) and HYD ZP3 three-phase (5-12 kW) hybrid inverters in the Easy Power series. It should not be confused with the ZSX5000-S low-voltage battery, which is instead designed for the HYD-HP single-phase series at 48V.
What is needed to complete the installation?
- ZZT-BAT-ZBT5K battery module (one or more, up to 4 in parallel)
- Mandatory external BDU ZZT-ZBT5K-BDU
- For the ZP1 single-phase system with more than 2 modules, ZZT-ZBT5K-EXT-KIT expansion kit
- Communication, power and parallel connection wiring included with the battery
Frequently asked questions
Which inverters does the ZBT 5K battery work with?
With ZCS Azzurro hybrid inverters from the HYD ZP1 (single-phase) and HYD ZP3 (three-phase) series. It is not compatible with the HYD-HP series, which uses the ZSX5000-S low-voltage battery at 48V.
Is the BDU included in the battery package?
No, the BDU (Battery Distribution Unit) is an external component required for system operation and must be ordered separately with code ZZT-ZBT5K-BDU.
How many modules can I install and how much capacity do I get?
From 1 to 4 modules in parallel, for a total nominal capacity of up to 20,48 kWh (18,44 kWh usable with 90% depth of discharge).
Is an additional kit required to install more than 2 modules on the single-phase system?
Yes, to install a third battery in the single-phase all-in-one system with ZP1 inverter, the ZZT-ZBT5K-EXT-KIT expansion kit is required.
What is the difference compared to the ZSX5000-S low-voltage battery?
The ZBT 5K operates at high voltage (400V) and is designed for the ZP1/ZP3 series, while the ZSX5000-S operates at low voltage (48V) and is designed for the HYD-HP series. They are not interchangeable between the two inverter platforms.
