No. The X3-PRO-25K-G2 is a pure string inverter, not hybrid: it does not have battery connection ports. To add storage to an existing system with the X3-PRO G2, you need to pair it with a retrofit storage inverter such as the Solax X3-FIT G4 (8 or 10 kW), which connects in AC between the string inverter and the grid. For a native hybrid system with integrated storage, consider the X3-Hybrid G4 or the X3-ULT directly.
What is the difference between X3-PRO G2 and X3-MIC G2?
The X3-MIC G2 covers sizes from 3 to 15 kW (up to 2 MPPTs), while the X3-PRO G2 covers sizes from 8 to 30 kW with similar features but higher power. For 25 kW systems, the reference model is the X3-PRO G2. For three-phase systems above 30 kW, you move to the X3-MGA G2 series (up to 60 kW) and X3-Forth (up to 125 kW).
Does the X3-PRO-25K-G2 require a separate Pocket WiFi for monitoring?
