The Alfen Eve Single Plus 3PH T2 (Alfen part number 904460223) is the 22 kW three-phase wallbox with Type 2 socket and 3.5" IPS colour display. Built on Alfen's new hardware platform, it is designed for anyone wanting a professional wallbox at home or at work: RFID reader, two Ethernet ports to daisy-chain several stations, OCPP protocol and hardware readiness for the ISO 15118 standard (Plug&Charge).
The display: why it makes a difference
On the standard-socket version the colour display shows charging status, power and energy delivered and guides the user. In a company car park with several stations or in an apartment building it is the easiest way to see at once whether the car is charging, whether the card has been accepted or why charging does not start, without opening an app.

Socket or tethered cable?
With a socket every user plugs in their own cable: the wallbox has no exposed parts that can be damaged, and a worn cable is replaced without touching the station. It is the right choice for shared car parks and for those who charge different cars. With a tethered cable you gain everyday convenience, ideal in a home garage.
Frequently asked questions
Which cable do I need with this wallbox?
A Mode 3 Type 2 to Type 2 cable: three-phase 32 A to use 22 kW, or the cable supplied with the car. The actual power is always the lowest among wallbox, cable and on-board charger.
How long will my car take to charge?
It depends on the on-board charger: at 11 kW you add roughly 55-70 km of range per hour, at 22 kW twice as much with cars that accept it. A plug-in hybrid limited to 3.7 kW recharges its electric battery in a few hours.
Can several wallboxes share the connection?
Yes: thanks to the two Ethernet ports the stations are daisy-chained and share a single data line, simplifying cabling in company car parks.
What does ISO 15118 ready mean?
The hardware is prepared for Plug&Charge, where the car identifies itself without a card: the function depends on firmware updates and on integration with the vehicle and management system.
Who should install it?
A qualified electrician, who sizes the supply line and upstream protection and certifies the installation according to IEC 60364-7-722 and local wiring rules.
