The Solax Power TP-HS36 (T-BAT-SYS-HV-S3.6 system) is a high-voltage 3.6 kWh battery module with LiFePO4 cells, designed for photovoltaic energy storage in residential and commercial applications. Thanks to its stackable modular structure and plug-and-play design, it ensures flexibility, safety, and ease of installation.

Why choose a high-voltage LiFePO4 battery?

High-voltage batteries such as the TP-HS36 offer higher system efficiency than low-voltage solutions: lower conversion losses, smaller cable cross-sections, and native compatibility with modern hybrid inverters. LiFePO4 (lithium iron phosphate) technology provides extremely high thermal safety, no risk of thermal runaway, and a significantly longer service life than traditional NMC chemistries.

System flexibility and scalability

The TP-HS36 is the base module of the T-BAT-SYS-HV-S3.6 system: the system requires a minimum of 2 modules to operate and can be expanded up to 13 modules per tower (47.9 kWh). With two towers connected to the same Solax hybrid inverter, you can reach 93.6 kWh of storage. Using the TCBox-70 accessory, it is possible to manage up to 3 systems from a single inverter battery input, reaching 280 kWh — an ideal solution for large commercial installations. The modules stack vertically with a plug-and-play system: installation is quick and can also be carried out by a single technician.

Integrated heating technology and Soft Start

The T-BAT-SYS-HV-S3.6 system integrates a battery heating technology that ensures performance even at outdoor temperatures of -20 °C, making it suitable for installations in alpine environments, unheated garages, or industrial plants in cold areas. The Soft Start function protects batteries and the inverter from power peaks during start-up, increasing the longevity of the entire system.

Compatibility with Solax hybrid inverters

The TP-HS36 is compatible with all Solax Power hybrid inverters in the X1 and X3 range (e.g., X1-HYB, X3-Hybrid, X3-Ultra). The maximum number of modules per tower and the number of towers that can be managed depend on the inverter model. The BMS (Battery Management Unit, model TBMS-MCS0800) and the Series Box are not included with the single module and must be purchased separately or as a complete system.

The TP-HS36 module does not include an integrated BMS. For system operation, you must purchase the Battery Management Unit (BMU) model TBMS-MCS0800 separately and, for systems with two towers, the Series Box (TCBox). The system requires a minimum of 2 modules to operate.

How many TP-HS36 modules can I connect to reach the desired capacity?

Each system (tower) supports from 2 to 13 TP-HS36 modules, for a capacity between 7.3 kWh and 47.9 kWh. With two towers connected to the same Solax hybrid inverter, you can reach 93.6 kWh. With the TCBox-70 accessory, you can reach up to 3 towers and 280 kWh per single battery input.

Is the TP-HS36 battery suitable for outdoor installations in cold environments?

Yes. The T-BAT-SYS-HV-S3.6 system is IP65 certified (resistant to dust and water jets) and features an internal heating system that enables operation down to -20 °C. It is therefore suitable for both indoor installations (garages, technical rooms) and outdoor installations, even in alpine or particularly cold areas.

Is the TP-HS36 compatible with inverters from other manufacturers besides Solax?

The T-BAT-SYS-HV-S3.6 system is designed to operate in combination with Solax Power hybrid inverters (X1-HYB and X3-Hybrid lines, including X3-Ultra). Compatibility with inverters from other brands is not guaranteed by the manufacturer.
