This 45° support structure in 3mm anodized aluminium is designed to mount 4 solar panels side by side (maximum combined width 420 cm) on a flat roof or via vertical wall mounting, canopy-style. The fixed 45° tilt guarantees good energy yield even without an optimally oriented roof.

What this structure is for

The system is ballasted directly on a flat roof, avoiding the need to drill through the waterproofing membrane, or it can be fixed directly to a vertical wall, for example to create a small solar canopy. Three triangular trestles hold the row of panels at a fixed 45° tilt, adding an extra intermediate support point given the longer length of the structure, while the central clamps join the four side-by-side modules into one stable plane.

Frequently asked questions

What's the maximum combined width of the 4 panels supported?

The structure is sized for 4 side-by-side solar panels with a combined width of up to 420 cm. For wider panels, please contact us to check compatibility.

Why does this structure have 3 trestles instead of 2?

With a row of 4 panels, the structure is longer: the third, central trestle provides an intermediate support point that prevents the rails from flexing and ensures greater stability along the full length.

Can I install it on a flat roof without drilling the membrane?

Yes, the structure is designed for ground ballast anchoring, avoiding any drilling into the roof's waterproofing membrane. Alternatively, it can be fixed vertically to a wall.

What's included in the package?

The kit includes 3 triangular trestles at 45°, 4 horizontal cross rails (440cm) with 2 connecting joints, 4 end fixing clamps, 6 central fixing clamps and complete mounting hardware. Ground ballasts are not included.

What are the rail connecting joints for?

The 2 joints connect the 440cm cross rails into one continuous beam, needed to span the full width of the 4 side-by-side panels while keeping the structure rigid and aligned.
