The ZCS Azzurro ZVA-PILLAR-CARO Pillar is the metal floor stand that turns the Caro wallbox into a free-standing charging point. It is 1.5 m high, designed for the 7, 11 and 22 kW Caro models and includes a cable hook to store the charging cable off the ground.
When you need a floor stand
A wallbox is made for wall mounting, but often the parking space has no usable wall: open condominium car parks, driveways, company yards, rows of parking bays. The Pillar solves this without custom structures and puts the station at the right height for the user, with the cable hanging and protected from being trodden on or driven over.

Installation considerations
- Foundation: the stand must be fixed on a stable base (concrete plinth or suitable paving); foundation and anchors are provided by the installer.
- Supply cable: with floor mounting the supply line usually arrives underground in a duct, which must be planned before casting the plinth.
- Position: between two parking spaces the Pillar can serve both with a 4 m cable, as long as the station is centred.
- Protection: in manoeuvring areas a bollard in front of the stand is good practice.

Is the Pillar compatible with all Caro wallboxes?
Yes, the manufacturer specifies it for the Caro series from 7 to 22 kW. It is not designed for wallboxes of other brands, which have different fixing holes.
Is the foundation plinth included?
No. The stand is supplied with the cable hook; the fixing base must be built on site according to the type of ground or paving.
Can it be installed outdoors?
Yes, it is designed for car parks and outdoor spaces. The Caro wallbox is suitable for outdoor use; a position where water does not pool at the base is still recommended.
What is the cable hook for?
It lets you coil the charging cable on the stand after use: the cable stays off the ground, stays clean and is not crushed by wheels, the most common cause of connector damage.
How high is the wallbox once mounted?
The stand is 1.5 m high: the wallbox sits at the reading and operating height of a standing person, convenient for starting a charge with the RFID card and for stowing the connector.
