NOBO FS40 Castor Feet for 40 cm Electric Panel Heaters
Original NOBO FS40 castor feet for 40 cm high electric panel heaters. The set includes two support feet and the supplied wheels and may be used with or without the wheels to convert a wall-mounted heater into a movable floor-standing unit.
NOBO part X-64570012. This is not the FS20 version for 20 cm high heaters: check heater height and compatibility before ordering.
The NOBO FS40 castor feet allow compatible 40 cm high NOBO electric panel heaters to be used as floor-standing units without permanent wall mounting. The pack contains two support feet and the manufacturer's wheels. The feet may be installed with the wheels for easy repositioning or without them when a fixed floor-standing arrangement is preferred.
This is the original NOBO accessory identified by part number X-64570012. It does not increase heater output or alter its electrical characteristics; its purpose is to support the heater correctly when it is not mounted on the wall.
NOBO FS40 compatibility
FS40 is designed for NOBO panel heaters and convectors with a height of 40 cm. A 20 cm high heater requires the FS20 feet. Do not select the accessory by heater wattage or width alone: always check panel height and the rear mounting arrangement.
For very short or narrow heater models, stability should be checked particularly carefully against the heater instructions. When in doubt, compare the heater reference with current NOBO documentation before installation.
What is included?
- Two NOBO FS40 support feet.
- Wheels for making the heater movable.
- The option to use the feet without the wheels.
- A mounting arrangement intended for the compatible rear attachment system.

How to install the castor feet
Disconnect the heater from the mains and allow it to cool before installation. Place the panel on a protected surface and follow the official NOBO fitting instructions. The feet use the rear attachment arrangement associated with the heater support system; both feet must be fitted symmetrically and fully engaged before the heater is returned to the upright position.
After fitting, check that the heater is stable, that the power cable is not under tension and that all clearance requirements in the heater manual are respected. The feet remove the need for permanent wall fixing, but they do not replace the appliance safety instructions.
When are wheeled heater feet useful?
- In rented homes or rooms where drilling the wall is not desirable.
- In front of windows, sloping walls or surfaces unsuitable for wall mounting.
- In holiday homes, offices, workshops and seasonally used rooms.
- When one heater needs to be repositioned between different rooms.
- When a floor stand is required but the wheels are not needed.
Safe everyday use
Place the heater on a level and stable floor. Before moving it, disconnect it, allow it to cool and hold the heater frame rather than pulling the power cable. The castors are intended for convenient repositioning within a room; do not drag the heater over steps, unstable rugs or uneven surfaces.
Never cover the heater or reduce the ventilation clearances specified by its manufacturer. Adding the feet does not change the heater's ingress protection rating, electrical class or permitted operating conditions.
Frequently asked questions
Do the FS40 feet fit every NOBO heater?
They are intended for 40 cm high NOBO panel heaters. A 20 cm high model requires FS20 feet. Check the heater height and rear attachment system before ordering.
How many feet are supplied?
The pack contains two feet, enough to support one compatible heater, together with the wheels intended for mobile use.
Can the feet be used without the wheels?
Yes. NOBO specifies that the feet may be used either with the supplied wheels or without them for a stationary floor-standing installation.
Does the heater still need to be fixed to the wall?
No. The feet allow floor-standing use, but the heater must remain stable and all clearances and safety instructions in its manual must still be followed.
Can I move the heater while it is switched on?
Disconnect it and allow it to cool before moving it. Never pull it by the cable, and make sure the route is level and free from obstacles.
