Alfen Eve Double Plus 2x22kW T2S sockets 2 feeders
Alfen Eve Double Plus dual charging station, three-phase, with two shuttered Type 2 sockets and two independent supply feeders: 22 kW per socket even with two cars connected. Type B RCD and MID meter per socket, 7" display, OCPP, IP54, IK10.
The Alfen Eve Double Plus 3PH 2FC T2S (Alfen part number 904463024) combines shuttered Type 2 sockets, required in places open to the public, with two independent supply feeders. Each socket delivers up to 22 kW three-phase even when two vehicles are connected, for a maximum of 44 kW. It is the configuration for public car parks, hotels, supermarkets and hospitality venues with many occasional users and stays of a couple of hours.
Why this combination for public places
Where many users come and go, three things matter: safety for passers-by, robustness and charging speed during short stays. Shutters close the contacts when the socket is free; sockets, unlike tethered cables, are not damaged if a user leaves a cable on the ground; two independent feeders mean the second customer does not charge at half power. In a hotel, for example, two guests arriving in the evening leave the next morning with a full battery even with 22 kW cars.

Frequently asked questions
How does it differ from the one-feeder T2S version?
With one feeder the two sockets share 22 kW; with two feeders each has its own 22 kW. The integrated protection also changes: here each socket has a Type B RCD, while the one-feeder shuttered version uses Type A RCBOs with 6 mA DC detection.
What is needed upstream?
Two separate feeders, each with a 4P RCD of at least 100 mA Type B (or selective Type A) and a 4P 40 A circuit breaker. The recommended cable for 22 kW up to 50 m is 5 x 6 mm².
Do guests need their own cable?
Yes, with sockets everyone uses their own Type 2 to Type 2 cable, which almost all electric cars come with. If you prefer not to rely on users' cables, there is the tethered-cable version.
Can charging be paid for?
Yes, through an OCPP platform with RFID cards or, with Alfen's optional functions, with direct payment via QR code or payment terminal.
Is the display readable outdoors?
Yes, the 7" IPS display has a brightness of 1000 cd/m², designed for reading even in full sunlight.
